Honor and Remember
On March 7, Kevin left Norman, Oklahoma on his hand-propelled bicycle.
He planned to bicycle to Washington, D.C. to raise awareness of veteran's issues and promote the adoption of the Honor and Remember flag as a national symbol (HR Bill 1034).
Kevin died of a seizure on March 13 in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Mile, thanks for posting this worthy cause! We do have a lot to be thankful for when it comes to our military!
I am also thankful for blogs, such as yours, of encouragement to continue my journey and where we of similiar mind can share, cry and be blessed. Thank you! Blessings!
Mile, I started my list and got to ten. After reading yours, I got more ideas and will post them when we get home later today. Thanks for putting this initiative out there.
I'm grateful for YOU
SO much gratitude. So many simple things that bring you SO much joy. Love you!
Dear Mile191,
You're the first thing I read this morning. I need to remember that when my mind goes to a disturbing place, I can best move it back to the positive by reviewing the many things that fill my heart with thankfulness.
Thanks for reminding me this morning.
PG
what a list. amazing the things there are to be grateful for when you start writing them down.
As always, a beautiful post. And yes, it matter that we support veterans and their families and the current soldiers. (My writers group has a member over in Iraq and every month we put together boxes of stuff to send her.) And I love that you can come up with such wonderful list of things to be grateful for.
