come into my closet, come under my bed, where you'll find me hiding,
the fear in my head.

abuse in the past, now, where do i start, making my future,
healing my heart.

crushed, and broken, falling fast-
needing comfort, make it last.

I took the What's Your Mental Disorder? quiz and the result is You're Not Crazy.

"Who are you trying to fool. You are just an average person with average mental stability. You may freak out every now and then, but who doesn't. Sorry to disappoint you but this should be a good thing, right?"

I am not sure what to think about this.....average mental stability....HEAVEN help our world if I am average.....

This made me laugh.

I have come to understand that as sick as I was and sometimes still am, I'm not as bad as I think. The world is full of woes - big woes!!!

Yup, just average, not the nuttiest candy bar in the machine not nut-free... just average...

Isn't it freeing to be just the average? :)

My verification word is "shmingly" I think that should be a real word!!! :)

It's nice to discover these things about ourselves, is it not?

Trust me, you must be average as I know a person at work who took it and got totally ticked off at her results. LOL. The thing is, her results described her to a "T" whether she likes it or not.

LOL! The thing is that everyone has insecurities and guilt and shame over something. I've come to realize that we survivors are often stronger emotionally than people who have not been abused--but we rarely give ourselves credit for that.

LOL I did that one too and apparently I am not crazy either. :) But then again, on other quizzes you get the most outrageous response, so perhaps this one is outrageous as well.. like backwards? cuz I know I am a little crazy :P

who I was, who I am, who I plan to be...

i am trying to heal from severe childhood sexual, emotional,
physical, and mental abuse; and abandonment.

this is my story.

i have good and bad days, and some days the odds seem insurmountable.
i cling to the hope that healing will come to mend the shatter pieces of my heart, mind and body.

mile 191, well, you will understand as you read along.
mile 191, portions of my past have a link on the top right.
mile 191, bottoms up. hears to you and to me.

please, if you know me, just let me know you found me. i need honesty. (and please do not use personal names)
if you want to follow my story, please try to heal with me.
if you want to share with me, please do.
i will post bits of my pain as i can, and leave it here.
i once thought that i would publish...i haven't had the courage.

this is my closet, you are welcome to come in.
just know this is my refuge, healing takes place here,
maybe it will be a refuge to you too.

Success is not to be measured by the position someone has reached in life, but the obstacles he has overcome while trying to succeed.
