come into my closet, come under my bed, where you'll find me hiding,
the fear in my head.

abuse in the past, now, where do i start, making my future,
healing my heart.

crushed, and broken, falling fast-
needing comfort, make it last.

Mile 191

i began a book so many years ago that when i decided to pull it today and read my words i found it in wordperfect 12. okay, old.

here is the beginning. as i read it and feel capable, i will share:

We all travel our road in this life. Our road may be smooth and picturesque, or might be filled with giant potholes and miles of uncharted territories. We never know that road that others take as we meet one another on the path, only that at some point we cross over and because of the route we have taken we are unable to ever understand that persons chartered course. Do we stop to look into their passport, or to grasp the experience of their travels, or do we lean only upon our own understanding of that which we have experienced. Or is it that because of what we have experienced that we think we understand others, but do we really?

Dear Mile 191

It is with your permission I am posting a few links to your blog posts. I firmly believe someone out there needs to read these and
"know they are not alone"

Thank you for your friendship through these years. You ARE an inspiration!

i have good and bad days, and some days the odds seem insurmountable.
i cling to the hope that healing will come to mend the shatter pieces of my heart, mind and body.

Success is not to be measured by the position someone has reached in life, but the obstacles he has overcome while trying to succeed.
