come into my closet, come under my bed, where you'll find me hiding,
the fear in my head.

abuse in the past, now, where do i start, making my future,
healing my heart.

crushed, and broken, falling fast-
needing comfort, make it last.

no mistakes...

yes, i agree that
we are all made up of our experiences...
thanks everyone.

i do HOPE that this is not only helping me,
but helping you...you all are in my thoughts
... and yes, you are in my prayers.
i do not feel alone. thank you♥

brave is something
that you have
to be
in a bad situation,

but
courage...

Courage is a choice.

courage is what you do
with the bad situation.

courage is an action!

courage brings healing,

courage is coming out of my closet,

out from under my bed,

sharing the awful thoughts in my head.

courage is in lifting a friend
when their down,

courage is sharing smile
when all they have is a frown.

courage is living
when all you want is to die.

i had to be brave to live in the past

but courage is what helps me

choose living at last.

no mistakes...
only a change of direction in the journey...

Some of my favorite quotes to go along with your topic of courage:

Courage is not the absence of fear but rather the judgment that something is more important than fear.

The fearless are merely fearless. People who act in spite of their fear are truly brave.

Hey, I'LL send hugs {{{{AMY}}}} to Amy!

Mile, ya figured it OUT--You a
S M A R T girl, I say that! Brave and Courage...two slightly different meanings. And that MEANS a LOT!

Helping Amy stay afloat helps me to stay out of myself, and you to do the same? Isn't life grand...and I'll be here tomorrow to say "Hi" to you--AND Amy-girl.

Well, mile, I said I'd be Bach. And just because you have not blogged yet today, I'm keeping my bargain. Just to letcha know, you aren't forgotten, simply because you do not have the time or inspiration to do this today.

And, hope Amy is OK also. will have to check.

Bless you, girl.
Peace, from

I wonder sometime, will it be a point in life where we can just put everything behind and continue living with a certanty that we will be happy, after we empty our heart from everything that hurts, can we fill it with happy moments without recycling the old ones. I wonder. you are brave and and extremely smart. keep up with what you r doing, day by day bad memories are worth less, and hurt less, I wish that from the bottom of my heart. Bug.

who I was, who I am, who I plan to be...

i am trying to heal from severe childhood sexual, emotional,
physical, and mental abuse; and abandonment.

this is my story.

i have good and bad days, and some days the odds seem insurmountable.
i cling to the hope that healing will come to mend the shatter pieces of my heart, mind and body.

mile 191, well, you will understand as you read along.
mile 191, portions of my past have a link on the top right.
mile 191, bottoms up. hears to you and to me.

please, if you know me, just let me know you found me. i need honesty. (and please do not use personal names)
if you want to follow my story, please try to heal with me.
if you want to share with me, please do.
i will post bits of my pain as i can, and leave it here.
i once thought that i would publish...i haven't had the courage.

this is my closet, you are welcome to come in.
just know this is my refuge, healing takes place here,
maybe it will be a refuge to you too.

Quotes from Suvivors United - Standing Strong Together Against Abuse

You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you stop to look fear in the face.
Eleanor Roosevelt

When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us.
Helen Keller

Success is not to be measured by the position someone has reached in life, but the obstacles he has overcome while trying to succeed.
Booker T. Washington

When I hear somebody sigh, 'Life is hard, ' I am always tempted to ask, 'Compared to what?'
Sydney Harris

Don't let life discourage you; everyone who got where he is had to begin where he was.
Richard L. Evans

Challenges are what make life interesting; overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.
Joshua J. Marine

What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
